Outdoor Living Space in the Woods

This is a very unique outdoor living space from the cedar shakes to the charcoal colored concrete counter tops.  The kitchen was built on a pre-existing colored and stamped concrete patio.  The owners first wanted to incorporate stone veneer on the vertical surfaces of the kitchen but decided not to because of everything else that was going on in that area with the stamped patio, boulder retaining wall and heavy tree cover.  So they went with cedar which seams to fit the area better anyway.  With the charcoal color choice for the concrete counter tops they really stand out nicely.  And to top it off the owner had purchased a massive wood/charcoal burning grill to sit in the middle of it.
